NanoSteel Launches Patented, High Performance, Crack Free Hardband GuardianTM CF added to Guardian family providing exceptional value and long life

The NanoSteel® Company, a leader in coating technologies, today announced the launch of its GuardianTM CF hardband for application on drill pipe tool joints. In response to changing industry needs, GuardianTM CF was designed to provide the characteristics of being a crack free material, which can be welded over other hardbands. In addition, while providing the ability to be open‐arc welded, it also improves upon the outstanding casing wear and tool joint protection of its predecessor GuardianTM HB.
